Resumé

I approach design by considering how the intersection of mediums can produce effective solutions. Unique and engaging results can take form by creating space between different binaries, such as the traditional vs digital form. In this way, there are always opportunities for innovation, experimentation, and exploration, and this flexibility of graphic design is what excites me.

Sara Melvin

In Dylan White’s debut EP Fronds, nature is a recurring reference as demonstrated by the title itself. To translate his lyricism into a visual form, I seamlessly merged Sara Melvin’s photography with plants through a process inspired by chlorophyll printing. Using sunlight, portraits of Dylan were bleached directly onto leaves to create the album artwork and creative assets.

Process

After pitching a few concepts, we had decided to move forward with the chlorophyll printing process to create am album campaign that felt organic, timeless, and authentic. Various plants were collaged, bleached, and scanned throughout the process to create mixed-media designs that felt intimate and personal.
